Hudiksvall Parish is seeking an engaged and relationship-building priest who wants to help shape and develop our work with confirmands and young leaders, where camps are an important part of this work. Here, there is a large and vibrant confirmand activity with many participants and a strong group of young leaders. We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting people of all ages and who wants to contribute to a team that aims to provide growth spaces for faith and relationships within the parish.

Your main responsibilities

As a curate with us, you will:

• lead and develop the confirmand work together with others in the confirmand team
• train, support, and follow our young confirmand leaders
• serve in worship services, masses, and church ceremonies
• offer pastoral care and spiritual guidance
• participate in the parish's other activities and joint missions
• possibly have managerial responsibilities, depending on experience and interest

We are looking for someone who is

• ordained in the Church of Sweden
• secure in your role and in the church's faith, tradition, and mission
• able to build relationships easily with both young and adults
• creative, curious, and willing to contribute new ideas
• collaborative and unpretentious in a team with multiple professions
• stable, attentive, and responsible

Experience working with youth, confirmands, or leadership training is an advantage.
